Travellers and players around the world are always using, abusing, upgrading, rating and loving or hating their gear. We decided to get a few gear reviews going and have brought in the experts to do it.
Ryan Scott does gear reviews for Runners World, Sports Illustrated and their online counterparts, so he has the knowledge, and he helps us out in putting gear to the test.
Some of the reviews are promo for products from friends and contacts, some are shameless plugs, and some are neither, just an out of the blue, position or review.
We will make sure you know whether we have a reason to punt it or not – but will try and make it that the gear speaks for itself as you see the results of the tests we do!

Bob enjoys the odd gadget too, so we will take a look at some fun things that we can find for you and sometimes there is a chance they may well actually end up in YOUR hands!
Bob and I met on the fields and “watering” holes of Stellenbosch University and have been fortunate enough to enjoy some rugby experiences from Edinburgh to Paris and as far as Houston Texas baby!
